What treatment can help me manage my persistent eye flashes?

Hello, Welcome to icliniq.com. Flashes in front of the eyes are a classical sign of retinal detachment and posterior vitreous detachment. You should get your retina checked by a vitreoretinal specialist. Since you had trauma near your eye just before these flashes started, there is a strong possibility of posterior vitreous detachment. If your retina is fine, maybe it is your brain.

My eyes are red and warm. What could this be?

Hello, Welcome to icliniq.com. You may be suffering from conjunctivitis or some other eye infection or it might be some allergy which is common. You should wash your eyes with warm water mixed with a pinch of salt (similar to one prepared for gargling, but with lesser salt). Do this every two to three hours for three to four times in 12 hours. If redness is reduced, then most probably you have conjunctivitis.

What happens to the dust that enters the eye? Will it affect the eyesight in the future?

Hello, Welcome to icliniq.com. Usually when dust enters the eye, it does not "enter the eye" per se. It actually lodges onto the eye surface and causes irritation. Thus leading to pain, redness of eyes, and secretion of tears. There might be a slight disturbance in the vision which is temporary.

You should consult an ophthalmologist for an eye checkup to confirm that there are not any pieces of metal lodged in the eye or skin around it.

Please suggest some solution for pus covering left lashes of my 2 months old daughter's eye.

It may have decreased now, so no pus is coming from the eye after tetracycline ointment, but some inflammation is still there in the eyelids. It can also be congenital dacryocystitis (blocked tube between the eye and nose).
