I have a fluctuating fever. Is it a symptom of COVID-19?

Hi, Welcome to icliniq.com. May I ask you a few more questions to arrive at a diagnosis? Do you have a sore throat, an itchy throat, cough, cold, rash, loss of smell, or taste? Do you have back pain, difficulty in urinating, or skin lesions like a rash? As fever alone is a manifestation of COVID-19, especially now that it is rampant. Do you have a history of exposure to COVID-19 confirmed case or symptomatic patients? Any travel history to areas with high COVID rates? I suggest you get a few tests, such as: CBC with platelets. SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCR (reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction). Urinalysis.

How do I manage persistent fever and COVID-19 symptoms?

Hi, Welcome to icliniq.com. I understand your concern. It is really prudent to rule out COVID-19 (severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2) infection now. Based on your symptoms, you can have other conditions, such as acute bacterial rhinosinusitis, as you have nasal congestion. Anyways, COVID or bacterial rhinosinusitis can be treated conservatively.
