Is it possible to be pregnant after you get your period?

Hello, Welcome to icliniq.com. I have gone through your history and understand your concern. This is very unlikely to be pregnancy as a proper period followed and when UPT (urine pregnancy test) was negative just before the period. So, you are at present not pregnant and no chances of pregnancy even with that last unprotected intercourse. The nature of discharge is suggestive of ovulation only.

Hello, Welcome to icliniq.com. Medicine to reduce weight is never recommended, especially if you are breastfeeding, until and unless the weight is causing problems with maintaining good health. Is unprotected sex on the fifth day of period safe?

Hello, Welcome to icliniq.com. I suggest you do a pregnancy test with urine pregnancy kit. If it is negative, wait for the period for at least seven to ten days. If the period does not come repeat the test and then think of taking medicine to bring period, not before that. If the pregnancy test is negative, there is no harm in waiting for the natural onset of period.

Why am I bleeding even after seven weeks of delivery?

Hello, Welcome to icliniq.com. The bleeding after seven weeks of delivery is not good. The ultrasound scan is suggesting blood collection and infection in the uterus (attachment removed to protect patient identity), and it may have the right diagnosis because bleeding is unusual. I hope she is not a patient of any thyroid disorder. If not, then give her: Combination of Tranexamic acid and Mefenamic acid, that is Tranexa MF tablet three times a day for five days.

Hello, Welcome to icliniq.com. As her period was irregular and the last one was two months ago, it is a bit difficult to predict the chances of pregnancy quite surely. However, I-pill is a very effective medicine for preventing pregnancy. So, considering her irregular period and bleeding, do a pregnancy test first after 14 days of intercourse. And if negative, then repeat weekly for two more weeks.

Is NIPT required in the second trimester?

Hello, Welcome to icliniq.com. Double marker, level 1 scan and NIPT (non-invasive prenatal testing) all are screening test and not diagnostic. They just suggest a possibility of the disease. So, if both the testsare normal you can avoid taking NIPT test. It is not a compulsory test and again a screening test but it is very costly and this test also does not identify all chromosomal disorders as others.
