Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I had unprotected sex with my partner on the 3rd of this month. She consumed an I-pill within 24 hours. She had uneven gray discharge on 19th of this month. This discharge lasted for two days. Till date, she did not have her periods. What does it mean? Is there any chance of pregnancy?
Please suggest.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
The chances of pregnancy are very less. But, do check for pregnancy once to be on the safer side.
Thank you.
Patient's Query
Thanks doctor,
But when will she have her period?
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
After I-pill sometimes the period gets delayed due to the hormonal effect of I-pill. As you have not mentioned her last period date, I cannot tell you the probable date. You can check with a urine pregnancy kit on the date of her last period. If negative for pregnancy, keep on checking weekly. If it is coming negative, there is nothing to worry. Just wait. Sometimes, period gets delayed by two to three weeks also. In the meantime, do not have any unprotected intercourse or take I-pill again.
I hope this helps.
Thank you.
Patient's Query
Thank you doctor,
Her last period date was on the 23rd of last month. Also, why was there a gray discharge?
Hello,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
Gray discharge is not significant. Just check for pregnancy on or after 23rd of this month.
Thank you.
