What could cause recurring anal fissures, skin tags, and an invisible hard lump?

Hello doctor,

Three years ago, I experienced a fissure, prompting a doctor's visit due to the appearance of a skin tag and bleeding from the anus. Although the bleeding subsided with ointment, sitz baths, and medication, the fissure recurrently reappears, particularly after consuming constipation-inducing foods. Presently, there is an invisible hard lump slightly above the skin tag. Upon touch, the lump feels firm, and when pressed, watery blood emerges, possibly from inside the anus or a red spot near the skin tag. To address bleeding, pain, or discomfort during constipation, I use warm water baths and anorelief ointment and consume Isabgol powder with water and chia seeds. Medications previously used for this concern include Isabgol, anorelief, and pain relievers. Please help.

Thank you.

What causes swollen lymph nodes, stuffy nose, and swollen tonsils?

Hi doctor,

About 17 days ago, I discovered a slightly swollen lymph node on my neck right above one of my glands and below my ear (left side). If it were not for me randomly picking at my neck, I would have not known about it because it is not visible. It does not feel extremely big. I can just tell that it is swollen because the right side of my neck does not have that slight swelling. I have been slightly sick for the past few weeks, but not seriously. My tonsils are swollen, especially my left one (same side with the swollen lymph node), though my throat is not extremely sore. I have been having a significant amount of mucus, my nose has been stuffy, and I have been clearing my throat non-stop. My head hurts a bit now and then, and my left ear has a weird popping or stuffy-like sensation. I want to know what this means. I do not know if this helps, but I possibly have a TMJ problem, but I do not know how that would affect this.

Please help.

How to treat anal fissures caused due to constipation?

Hello doctor,

My 12-year-old son has got anal fissures due to constipation. He has the habit of holding his bowel movements while in public, and we have finally helped him overcome the habit. However, the fissures and spotting have not reduced. He does not have a fever, abdominal pain, blood in stools, or any food triggers that point towards Crohn's disease. His doctor has suggested he get a colonoscopy done. He has normal bowel movements; however, his anus looks red and irritated, and his skin seems thin. Currently, he is using a stool softener. Also, his stool sample does not show blood or bacteria. I have tried using coconut oil and vaseline, but nothing seems to help.

Kindly advise.
