How can my breast cancer bone metastasis be treated?

Hello, Welcome to icliniq.com. I do not have full information regarding the case from your query. Kindly give details on: What was the stage of the condition at the time of diagnosis? What chemotherapy was used? When did you start Arimidex? The conclusion I can make from the information that you have given is that the patient has bone metastasis only. The treatment for such a case is a change in hormone therapy. Your medication has already been changed from Tamoxifen to Arimidex.

But taking contraceptive medicines does not affect cancer in any way. She can take these pills without worrying about adverse consequences.

Does lymph node dissection help control cancer spread at 73?

Hi, Welcome to icliniq.com. I went through the details of your father's illness, and I will concentrate on the present problem. I will not agree with the advice for surgery of lymph nodes, as the PET scan suggests that it may have spread to other areas of the lung, though not confirmed. Doing surgery for a disease that has spread beyond is of no value. Unfortunately, for this type of cancer, there is no immunotherapy.

Is Tamoxifen safer than Letrozole for stage 4 breast cancer?

Hi, Welcome to icliniq.com. I saw your positron emission tomography (PET) scan report (attachment removed to protect patient identity). If I were your oncologist, I would be very satisfied with the report. Bone metastasis cannot completely disappear after treatment. They become less prominent.

Hi, Welcome to cliniq.com. Your father has severe renal failure. The blood in cough could be due to many reasons. I think you need to concentrate on his dialysis. If blood in sputum continues, then we need to find out reasons for this by x-ray or CT scan.
