How to treat ringworm infection persisting for seven months?

Hello doctor,

I have had ringworm for the past seven months. It comes and goes. I have used many creams tablets. No use. But finally, I found a cream named Valerate-C. It is a very effective cream. If I apply it once at night, it solves the itching problem overnight. The infection also reduces for a week. After a week or 10 days, the infection starts again. I tried using it continuously for two weeks. When I stop using infection comes again after two weeks. I am stopping using it because of its shortage. I could not find that cream anywhere. I only find that in my village. I cannot stay in my village every time. I bought that cream many times bulky (four creams). After the completion, the infection starts again after two weeks. Please solve my problem. How can I kill the ringworm's root? I have used Sapat lotion also. It is just burning the skin and the infection. After four days or a week, the infection starts again. Please help me.

I have hives and my feet, hands, and lips are swollen. Is it a reaction to my dye?

Hello doctor,

I have hives along with swollen feet, hands, and lips. Hives are itching. I took tablet Claritin and Prednisone for my hives. I am already taking tablet Abilify and Topamax, and I have dyed my hair recently. I guess these are the two possible causes for my hives. Which do you think would be the cause, or how can I find out definitively?

Kindly help.

Does mild deviated nasal septum cause dust allergy?

Hi doctor,

I have cough, sneezing, frequent postnasal drip, and have been allergic to dust for more than three years. I had taken tablet Montek-LC, Fluticasone nasal spray, and Azelastine nasal spray but no relief. I had taken nasal endoscopy, and it showed a mild deviation of the nasal septum, but the ENT specialist suggested no need for immediate surgery. The MRI of brain and paranasal sinus shows no sinusitis.

Kindly help.

Thanks.

Do thick mucus and nasal congestion relate to nasal polyps?

Hello doctor,

Approximately one year ago, I began to have recurrent, once per month or few weeks approximately, left-sided sinus congestion. Though my nose was never stuffy, I could feel the congestion somewhere between my lower nasal passage and sinus. When I would go to clear this, it would take a few minutes of hard blowing to get it loose enough to exit. When it finally would clear, the mucous was the strongest, thickest, non-separating gelatin-like, clear or white material I have ever come across. I chalked it up as allergies as I have begin to develop them mildly at the age of 40. This symptom over the last six months became more frequent, and now, for the last week, it is there daily and bright, dark yellow. The mucous is still very difficult to bring out, and sometimes I am able to bring it through the oral cavity, after incredulous amounts of effort. The mucous is so sticky it wants to stay right where it is. Or could this be a polyp issue, possibly? It is symptomatic of sinusitis as it is an obvious infection, but I am not stuffy at all. I can breathe finely. No fever or other symptoms, aside from very slight sinus pressure, but I sound nasal when I speak like I have a cold.
