What could be the reason for mucus in the throat and a swollen lymph node?
Hello doctor,
I have been suffering from a throat infection with a cough, shortness of breath, and phlegm. It decreased after taking antibiotics prescribed by a doctor but from that time I am having continuous mucus in my throat with pain on side of neck. One doctor told me it is GERD and prescribed medicines for that which did not help. Later another doctor did a neck X-ray, and laryngoscopy and told me it is allergic granular pharyngitis. There is also one swollen lymph node.
