Hi, Welcome to icliniq.com. Thanks a lot for such a detailed history; it makes my job easier. I would want to know what was the result of the biopsy or fine needle aspiration cytology. Based on that, I shall be in a better position to tell you the next step. Your thyroid is functioning to its maximum, so you do not need to worry on that front.
Hi, Welcome to icliniq.com. I understand your concern. Can I see the FNAC (fine needle aspiration) and ultrasound of the thyroid reports? Do you have a family history of thyroid illness? I hope this helps you. Thank you..
Hi, Welcome to icliniq.com. The risk of cancer cannot be determined exactly. However, the hypoechoic nodule, age, and calcification are somewhat in favor of malignancy. Ultrasonography of the thyroid is not a sure test to diagnose malignancy. I would rather do FNAC (fine needle aspiration ) from both the nodules of the right and left lobes and then comment whether it is malignant or not.
Hi,Welcome to icliniq.com.The viral infection she might have caught from her school and there is no need to worry. Usually, that is self-limiting. We adapt the policy of wait and watch unless there are no complications and I think there are none. With respect to thyroid, I suggest you do not panic.
Hello, Welcome to icliniq.com. It is not something that one should be worried about. Triglycerides are high when the sugars are high and when sugars settle, the triglycerides also settle. Do not panic. Blood urea nitrogen is just above and it is not significant.
Hello, Welcome to icliniq.com. I have a few questions for you as follows. At what age did you start getting your period? Have you ever had any hormonal evaluation? Does anyone in your family (mother, sister, or aunts) have a similar problem? I hope this helps. Kindly revert in case of further queries. Thank you.
Hello, Welcome to icliniq.com. I have read your query, and I can understand your concern. I have reviewed your reports (attachment removed to protect the patient’s identity). They show that you are euthyroid, which means your thyroid is normal, and you need not have to worry. I would suggest you repeat the thyroid profile after two months.
Hello, Welcome to icliniq.com. Kindly answer the following questions. Do you have any family history of breast cancer? Do you have a fever, nausea, vomiting, or weight loss? When was your blood sugar and thyroid tested? Regards..
Hi, Welcome to icliniq.com. You have what is called subclinical hypothyroidism. It is also a metabolic component of PCOD (polycystic ovarian disease). You are doing most things right. Remember there is no magic treatment.
Hi, Welcome to icliniq.com TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) is very important for the baby's brain growth as rightly said by you. Therefore, it is imperative that we treat aggressively. Target TSH in the first trimester is 0.3 - 2.5 mIU/L and therefore the doctor did not change the treatment.
