What are the symptoms of acid reflux?

Hi doctor,

I am 59 years old and have had issues in my stomach, chest, and throat for the last three years. I feel heaviness in my throat and chest. I did an endoscopy and ultrasound, whatever is required. I consulted an ENT specialist and a physician for the same.

I understand your concern.

All those complaints seem to be due to acid reflux from the esophagus to the stomach. Most people have normal results during endoscopy. I would suggest the following:

Avoid oily and spicy foods.
Avoid caffeinated and aerated drinks.
Try to reduce weight if you are overweight.
Try to reduce your weight if you are overweight.
Eat small, frequent meals.
Take tablet Pantocid (Pantoprazole) 40 mg once a day before food.
