Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have severe acne mainly on my cheeks and forehead for a year, and now it continues to get worse, and there are no improvements. No matter how many times I go to the doctors. I am currently taking Lymecycline capsules for a month and the Differin gel at night. I have seen no improvements, inspite of eating healthy food, and drinking more water. I need help because it ruins my confidence and is a daily struggle.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

During teenage, it is very common to get acne, especially on cheeks and forehead due to several reasons (primarily because of hormonal changes in puberty). It is advisable to wash your face multiple times to avoid the accumulation of dirt, which can lead to blockage of pores, and that results in acne formation. Use of a mild medicated facewash suggested by your dermatologist might help you to get rid of the present symptoms. I hope this helps.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
