Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have read your query and understand your concern.

The condition appears to be advanced acne, which may include comedones and inflamed nodules. As a first-line therapy, a face wash containing Benzoyl peroxide (BP) can be used. It is better to start with a low-strength product to reduce irritation. Benzoyl peroxide is also available in the form of creams and gels.

If the pimples still persist, topical antibiotics such as Clindamycin gel and a retinoid like Tretinoin cream can be considered. Since nodular acne is present, oral antibiotics such as Doxycycline 100 mg per day or Minocycline 50 mg per day may be prescribed under medical supervision.

The following measures can also help:

  • Wash the face at least three times a day with a gentle cleanser.

  • Avoid squeezing or picking the nodules, as this can worsen inflammation and cause scarring.

  • Gentle steam application to the face may help open pores occasionally.

  • Avoid excessive oily or greasy foods.

If the condition persists, consultation with a dermatologist is recommended for further evaluation and appropriate management.

I hope you are satisfied with my answer. For further queries, you can consult me at iCliniq.

Thank you.
