Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 18 years old, and I have concerns regarding my skin. I have pimples with no white heads over my cheek area (left and right cheek) with some dark spots as well. May I ask for your suggestions? I badly want to have clear skin. Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

I suggest you use the following:

1. Oil control face wash twice a day (for oily and combination skin). In case of dry or sensitive skin, vitamin C face wash twice a day.

2. Moisturizer Cetaphil (Water, Glycerin, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, and Cetearyl Alcohol).

3. Sunscreen.

4. Acne spot correction gel for oily and combination skin. Apply once at night till active acne. Duration of use can be from a month up to three months.

Keep a gap of 15 to 20 minutes between two applications of any creams or serums. Do not use derma rollers for scar management in any of the active stages of acne till it is settled. In the case of oily skin, marks or pigmentation concern as well.

Hope this helps.

Regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
