Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I see small amounts of blood when I wipe after bowel movements and a slight stinging as well. Wondering if this is an anal fissure or maybe something else? I have had blood on toilet paper in the past too with the same symptoms but thought it is nothing to worry about.

Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Thank you for your reply.
It happened like eight months ago as well. No blood drops are coming out. No difficulty or straining when defecating. And no pain around the anus. Just some itching and slight stinging when I wash the area, defecate, or wipe the area.
Hello,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
Based on the reply to my questions, it is not an anal fissure or hemorrhoid as well. In anal fissures, the most common symptom is sharp anal pain with defecation followed by throbbing anal spasms. No pain around the anus rules out a localized abscess. It appears to be mild small localized swelling with skin abrasion leading to slight stinging and some itching.
I suggest you to follow a few instructions mentioned below:
I hope this has helped you.
Thank you.
