Anteverted Uterus

When the uterus is tilted forward at the cervix, it is called an anteverted uterus. It is positioned in front of the rectum and on top (slightly behind) the bladder. About 70 % of women have an anteverted uterus. This is a normal uterine position and does not affect the chance of conception of the woman or the pregnancy.
