Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am suffering from stomach issues from last one year. As per endoscopy report, I am suffering from antral erosions (scattered red erosions). It is resulting in a loss of appetite, stomach fullness, gastric troubles and incomplete evacuation. Kindly advice a proper medical treatment to cure this problem. Waiting for your revert.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

In addition to a less spicy, fiber-rich diet, you need to take a course of tablet Esomeprazole 20 mg twice daily half an hour before meals for one month. Consult your specialist doctor, discuss with him or her and start taking the medicines with their consent.

If symptoms do not improve, you may need to do a urea breath test to see if you have H. pylori infection. If that is positive, you will put on triple therapy regimen which is a prescription medication.

If symptoms do not improve at all after that or get worse, please notify for further tests. But this is unlikely.

Please keep your stress levels in check as this can aggravate your symptoms. Also, eat on time.

Hope this helps.
