Can electrocution make one sweaty post-flickering lights?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Did I possibly experience an electrical shock without feeling a “shock”? I was standing inside, and I kind of sat against the wall on a metal windowsill for about ten minutes, and when I stopped leaning against it, the lights in the room flickered. Could this just have been a coincidence? I did not feel shocked or anything, but I felt very weird ever since this happened. I got really sweaty feet, right after this happened and have felt very weird ever since, and this was around 15 hours ago. Could this just be anxiety, or could this have caused any harm to my brain? I am just really worried when stuff like this happens and would like to know if it could have caused any harm. I want to clarify it to get peace of mind. Thanks.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

No, it is not due to electric shock. It is just anxiety. When there is an electric shock, there is always an injury to body parts, and marks are seen.

Hope this has answered your query.

Kind regards.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you.

I have been feeling very bad the whole day after this, is it probably because I worry too much about it then?

Hello,

I understand your concern.

Yes, it is due to overthinking only, so nothing to worry about.
