What could be the cause of scalp numbness, short-term memory loss, and demotivation?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a teenager and I have had scalp numbness and short memory loss for the past many years. Both conditions are getting rapidly worse. My reports are normal. I feel demotivated and lazy. Is there anything you could suggest?

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understood your concern.

There is a possibility that you are suffering from anxiety which is manifesting in the form of numbness and memory impairment. There are many treatment options available for anxiety management but my recommendation is to use medication as an anxiety management strategy. Most individuals with mild to moderate anxiety get proper help by doing meditation.

I hope this helps you.

If you have more questions feel free to write back to me.

Thanks and regards.
