Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 31-year-old female with excellent overall health. I was prescribed Clobetasol ointment for dermatitis. Soon after applying it before going to bed, I started feeling dizzy. Later the next day, I started having heart palpitations and increased blood pressure. Overall anxiety symptoms, which I found weird since I have never had anxiety before, and I do not have a reason to have anxiety. I stopped using the cream after three days, and it has been four days since I stopped the medication, but I still have some anxiety symptoms. I am currently taking homeopathic medication for anxiety symptoms and garlic for blood pressure.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

There are two possible causes of your symptoms, the first is the hyperthyroid function, and the second is an anxiety disorder.

Hyperthyroidism causes palpitations, heat intolerance, weight loss, diarrhea, and delicate hand tremors. Do you have similar symptoms?

Some blood tests could confirm or exclude the condition. Also, effective medications are available.

Please provide me with more details to identify the cause and start treatment.

Wish you all well being.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
