Hi doctor,

My son is 15-days-old. Everything was fine until today. But today, he started crying a lot. I am not sure what happened to him. Usually, he never cries. He sleeps for a few minutes, and suddenly he starts crying continuously and uncontrollably. Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

The general proclamation is that the crying infant is hungry and so try breastfeeding. If not controlled, check if the panties are wet and soaked in the urine passed. Then all the babies get colicky pain and make him to burp properly by putting him on your shoulder in such a way that his tummy comes properly on your shoulder. You can put him upside down or on his stomach after he feeds. Never give bottle feeds and give only breastfeed milk. For gaseous irritation caused only by faulty feeding techniques, you can give Colicaid drops (Dimethicon, Dil oil, and Fennel oil) 5 to 7 drops every one hour after he feeds. Take care and happy motherhood and parenting.

Please update me on the progress.

Thank you.
