Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am a 25 year old female. I noticed a yellowish-brown coating on my pubic hair and underarms. The affected area is smelly too. Is this something to be worried about? What medicine should I take? I have uploaded an image that is very similar to my condition.
Hi,
I am glad you chose icliniq for your medical-related queries.
I understand your concern and will try to help you with it.
I have seen the image (attachment removed to protect patient identity) and understand your concern. It appears to be trichomycosis axillaries, caused by Corynebacterium. Bath twice with Frolix soap (non-alkaline and skin-friendly) and apply Aldry (Aluminium chlorohydrate) lotion twice daily on dry skin. Keep the area dry at all times.
Thank you for consulting me.
You can always reach me at icliniq.com.

Hi doctor,
Thank you for the reply.
Will it infect my scalp hairs? If so, what should I do?

Your scalp will not get infected with these bacteria. This is not a contagious problem, and it will not spread as well. Please do not worry.
