Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have had extremely bad breath for the past seven years. People have moved away from me as they could not tolerate my bad breath. Finally, I consulted a dentist who told me I have no underlying dental conditions. I also have really good oral hygiene. I floss, brush twice daily, and use a tongue scraper and a mouthwash. However, the smell is very foul and does not subside. Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

If there are no underlying dental conditions, the issue might be with your gastroenteric bacterial colonies causing this bad breath or your tonsils which may be infected. I suggest you consult an ENT (ear, nose, and throat) surgeon to check whether you have tonsil stones. If you have a problem in your gastrointestinal tract, I suggest you change your diet and have curd and yogurt.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
