Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have fatigue, fever, headache, sore throat, body pain, and stuffy nose for the past three days. People surrounding me are suffering from symptoms associated with bird flu since a week. Should I be concerned about the exposure?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You might be exposed to bird flu. There is also a chance of COVID (coronavirus disease). Follow the below steps;

1. Take complete blood count, erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), C-reactive protein (CRP), D-dimer test, chest X-ray.

2. Get adequate rest and do steam inhalation.

3. Gargle with warm water.

4. I suggest tablet Tylenol (Paracetamol 500 mg, Dextromethorphan, and Pseudoephidrine) once in six hours for three days and tablet Tylenol multiaction (Paracetamol 500 mg, Dextromethorphan, Chlorphenoramine, Pseudoephidrine) in the night for three days. Review after three days.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
