Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I had protected sex using a condom two weeks back and it was the day after ovulation but yesterday, I experienced light bleeding and very mild cramps. Could it be implantation bleeding? My last period lasted for four days in the second week of last month. My next period is due in about nine to 10 days and I have not missed a period in the past year. I would like to mention that it was my second time of having sex. please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

We value the high level of confidence that you have in us.

I believe that you have developed a hormonal imbalance since the sexual activities were protected. The light bleeding and cramps may just be a result of the recent sexual activity. Could you please do a hormone profile test and follow up with the results? I suggest you take the following medications:

  1. Tablet Norethisterone 5 mg orally.
  2. Tablet Ventolin 4 mg orally thrice a day.

I hope this helps.

Do revert in case of any further queries.

Thank you.
