Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 12 weeks pregnant and experiencing bleeding. What could be the source of my bleeding?

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Pregnancy bleeding is not common. It might be a simple miscarriage threat or something more complicated. For the time being, stay calm and get plenty of rest. Increase your fluid intake to at least 0.92 gallons of water every day, and I suggest you take an Acetaminophen (Paracetamol) tablet. Also, you may need to get an ultrasound scan to confirm your pregnancy and provide a urine sample for testing. This would allow us to look for infection in your urine, which can be a sign and cause of bleeding.

I hope this helps. Thank you.

Investigations to be done

ultrasound MCS - multiple chemical sensitivity for three days Let me know when you have the test result.

Treatment plan

Tablet Acetaminophen 1g 8 hourly for 3 days.
