Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

What could be the cause of the symptoms mentioned above? Can it be cancer or any other serious disease? Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understand your concern. However, I would like to know when did the symptoms start? The possible causes could be viral fever with hepatitis, malaria, other systemic infection, drug overdose, or anemia. Also, share your complete medical history with investigation reports.

Kindly revert for further queries.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for your reply.

I have the reports that have been gathered during hospital stays and visits. The condition has been going on for four weeks now. The patient has been feeling sick and constantly screaming from excrutiating pain, which spreads across the body. What could be the reason for this? Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Can you share the liver function test reports that you have mentioned previously so as to exclude the possibility of hepatotoxic drugs? I suggest tablet Paracetamol 650 mg thrice a day for three days. Also, drink plenty of liquids and have semisolid food. If the liver enzymes are high or the symptoms do not improve, consult with your physician immediately. Complete general and physical examination of the patient is very important; otherwise, the condition may worsen. I also need to know the level of blood pressure, saturation, temperature, pulse rate, and respiratory rate. Paracetamol may take care of body pains and fever. If liver enzymes are deranged then do not give Paracetamol more than 2 to 3 gm per day; otherwise, it may lead to drug-induced liver injury. I would also suggest getting a complete hemogram, liver function tests, hepatitis viral panel, dengue NS 1, and IgM (immunoglobulin M).

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
