What is the recovery time for stage 2A breast cancer in 40s?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My mother is in her late forties and has been diagnosed with stage 2A breast cancer. I would like to know an appropriate course of treatment to educate myself to help my mother, and also want to know how much it would cost for the same, with the best evaluated time for recovery?

Kindly help me.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understand your concern.

The treatment will involve surgery and chemotherapy. In some cases, it may also require radiation therapy, hormonal therapy, and targeted therapy, depending on the ER (estrogen receptor) and PR (progesterone receptor) status, as well as the neu (neuroglioblastoma cell line) report. The cost of treatment varies from hospital to hospital.

I hope this helps.

Thank you.
