Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
My 3-month-old baby boy is fed half breast milk, and half formula milk powder as the mother does not have enough milk.
1. Can we continue to feed the baby with formula milk powder for the additional need?
2. When can we start feeding the baby with infant cereal powders?
3. Any suggestions to improve the mother's milk?
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and understand your concern.
May I know the reason for decreased milk output? Mother's milk is always the best for the baby; you can use, Satavari powder for the mother to improve breast milk. You can continue using infant formula powder till six months of age. Always try breastfeeding first, and then if needed, give infant formula powder so that baby gets maximum breast milk, and baby suckling also enhances milk output. You can start using baby cereal powder after six months.
Thank you.
