Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have had difficulty breathing since last year. I am currently taking Prednisolone for Crohn's disease but there is no inflammation in the bowel right now. My blood reports show leukocytosis, thrombocytosis, high gamma-GT, GOT, GPT, and LDH. Could you please review my thorax X-rays for a possible source?

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

As I can see, the X-rays are showing mildly prominent bilateral lung markings and this is a non-specific finding and might also be a variation of normal. No focal lung lesions in the X-ray chest images. It is best to get a lung function test done and if needed then a CT chest scan might help to clear doubts about lung changes.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor, thank you so much for the reply.

Actually, I did a thorax CT afterward which is difficult for me to interpret. Could you please have another look?

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

The CT images are showing a patchy pneumonitis in the right lung middle lobe medial segment. This CT is done one year back and you might find it helpful to consult your doctors again if your problems have not significantly improved.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
