I have chest pain. Can acid reflux or gastritis cause this?

Hi doctor,

I have had chest pain for the past two months, and it troubles me more when I look around. Also, I have arm and leg pain. If I get bored, I feel relaxed for some time, but again it starts. Currently, I am using medicines for gastritis.

Please help.

  2. Have you been having constipation or gas?
  3. Do you have a history of high blood pressure?

Hi doctor,

Thank you for your reply.

I do not have dizziness, but sometimes I have difficulty breathing. My SpO2 (peripheral oxygen saturation) is more than 95, and my pulse rate is sometimes 55 bpm (beats per minute), sometimes 108 bpm. According to endoscopy, I have gas at times, and I feel constipated.

It burns more and itches. No blood pressure. I was taking painkillers and anxiety pills, but I stopped now and am just taking Rabeprazole for gastritis.

Please suggest.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

The cause of your pain obviously has to do with your gastrointestinal tract, mainly gas. I suggest you also take an antacid syrup containing Sodium alginate 500 mg, Sodium bicarbonate 213 mg, Calcium carbonate 325 mg, and Simethicone (anti-foaming agent) for gas. It will help you.
