Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I have done my ECG, echo, TMT and all blood tests; all reports are normal, but the echo shows MVP with mild MR. I feel anxiety and stress. Please check my reports and give me your opinion. I feel anxiety and tiredness and atypical chest pain. I have lost my weight of 11.02 pounds (105.82 Ibs). For two days, I have had a cough and splitting mucus. Please see my x-ray and CT report. Previously, I was taking Petril Beta 10 and currrently I am taking Montas L Ascoril. When I sleep straight, my chest hurts. What is the cause?
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
First, stress can even affect your heart more progressively, so better try avoiding stressful activities. MVP (mitral valve prolapse) is a condition when one of your heart valves does not close properly, which can lead to some complications and sometimes a small amount of backflow of blood, and it can be repaired surgically if advised by the cardiologist. I would advise you to consult with a cardiologist. Please answer the following questions for better evaluation.
1) In how many days did you lose 11.02 pounds?
2) Any history of tuberculosis or in the family?
3) Are you on any medications?
4) Any history of diabetes or hypertension?
Thank you.
If anything else, please let me know.
Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
Thank you for the reply.
Last two months, I lost 11.02 Ibs weight. I have taken CT and x-ray reports and am taking medicine for cough Montasl tablet and Ascoril syrup. Thank you.
Hi,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
Thank you for the response.
CT (computed tomography) chest suggests (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity) bronchiectasis in some part of the lung, it is a condition that is caused by infection, and the patients with bronchiectasis are more prone to infections. Since you have a weight loss, I suggest you test for MTB (mycobacterium tuberculosis).
If anything else, please let me know.
Thank you.
