How to manage recurrent throat infections?

Hello doctor,

I have been suffering from repeated throat infections for the last eight months. This time, the infection was very severe and lasted for nearly 20 days, resulting in my tonsils getting infected with white lines on them. I have just completed a 10-day injection course of Mesporin-2000 IV. The infection and throat pain are much better but still not fully cured. I have undergone blood tests and a swab test. Require suggestions on further treatment?
