Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Last night, I mistakenly sprayed a bit of party spray in my eyes, and it is causing redness, irritation, and a burning sensation in the eyes. What should I do? Currently, I am putting eye cleaner drops once in my eyes. Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

First, slowly wash your eyes and try not to rub them as it will cause more harm. Next, check for any blurring; if seen, it may indicate corneal epithelial defect or edema. You should consult your ophthalmologist then. Usually, corneal epithelial defects heal within three to four days; hence you need patience. Use a copious amount of lubricating eye drops and gels to get rid of irritation and foreign body sensation. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
