This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am having a cough for more than a week. It is like a chesty cough, but a little dry cough, and I have some problems in my throat. My age is 42 years and my weight is 209 pounds. Please help.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I appreciate the genuine concerns regarding your health. I have carefully worked through your case and I can realize your health worries.

There is nothing to worry about in your heart. It is due to an infection of the respiratory tract. I suggest the following medicine. Consult your doctor and take the medicine with their consent.

1. Tablet Fexofenadine 120 mg once at night.

2. Tablet Ibuprofen orally three times a day.

3. Tablet Azithromycin 400 mg once a day for five days only.

4. Benadryl DR Syrup (Dextromethorphan hydrobromide (15 mg/ 5 ml) two tablespoons thrice a day.

I hope that you get your answer.

Please let me know if you need any help.

Thank you.
