Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am recently having a problem with pain inside the scrotum. Usually, when it is cold, my scrotum is tight, and I feel pain on the right side, which stays for some hours and goes away and returns again. This is because the size of my right testicle is three times more than the left one. Is this normal? And what is the cause of the pain?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

Whenever the climate is cold, the testicles go near the abdomen. If it is hot, then they stretch away from the abdomen. This is a normal phenomenon to maintain temperature in the testis.

The right testis are usually a little bigger than the left, But not three times. So I suggest you consult a specialist.

I suppose it may be due to hydrocele or due to orchitis.

I suggest you avoid tight clothing, weight lifting, and jumping.

I hope this helps.

Thank you and take care.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
