Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am a 30-year-old woman with a mental health problem. I am taking medications for my severe fear of dying, but the circumstance means that I am unable to make my own decisions. I am in a position where I have no choice but to wait. For instance, I am not prepared to go with my partner nor am I able to live without him. The current scenario is deteriorating rapidly and is causing me much distress. Kindly help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and can understand your concern.
As you are already taking medication, you need treatment review and counseling sessions because you have a phobic anxiety disorder, which makes patients try to avoid situations that make them fearful and begin living in their comfort zones, making their condition worse and medication unable to treat it.
I hope this helps.
Thank you and take care.
