Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have had unprotected sex during my ovulation period. After that, I had been spotting on and off. However, my periods got delayed for five days. Is it possible for me to get pregnant?
Please help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I went through your query and understood your concern.
If you have not had sex since your last ovulation period, it is unlikely that you are pregnant. However, there could be other reasons for your spotting and delay in your period. Changes in the menstrual cycle can be caused by a variety of factors, such as stress, changes in weight or diet, hormonal imbalances, or underlying medical conditions. It is possible that these factors could be contributing to your symptoms. If you continue to experience spotting or other unusual symptoms, I suggest you go for an ultrasound.
I hope this has helped you.
Thanks and regards.
