Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I always have delayed periods. I got my period delayed this month. I faced this kind of situation many times, and different doctors gave me different medications. It has been two years. I did not consult any doctor regarding this and did not take any medicine. Now I am 22 years old, my height is 5 feet 1 inch," and my weight is 125 pounds.

Hi,

I am glad you chose icliniq for your medical-related queries.

I understand your concern and will try to help you with it.

If you have been facing this problem for a long then you should do an ultrasound of the pelvis, thyroid profile, and complete blood count to rule out any pathology. These days, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is very common, especially in young populations, with irregular periods, scanty menses, acne, and excessive weight gain.

Do the investigations and let me know so accordingly we can start treatment. Till then, to stop the bleeding, take the tablet Tranexa MF twice daily for three to five days. Once the bleeding stops, you can discontinue this.

Thank you for consulting me.

You can always come back and reach me at icliniq.com.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
