Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have a small black spot on my molar tooth. Is there any natural way to reverse it? I do not experience any pain, and there is no hole in the tooth.
Please help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
Although the pictures (attachments removed to protect patient's identity) are not very clear for both the upper premolar and lower wisdom tooth, it appears to be caries. Even though a cavity has not formed yet, caries has started internally, which could eventually lead to cavity formation and develop into deeper lesions. This progression may result in pain.
Consequently, it is advisable to seek treatment as early as possible. Your condition appears to be in the initial stages of a carious lesion. Sometimes, these lesions seem shallow on the surface, but they can extend much deeper internally. An accurate assessment of their extent can be obtained through an X-ray examination of the affected teeth. Unfortunately, there are no natural methods to reverse this condition.
I recommend consulting a dentist, undergoing clinical and radiographic examinations, and receiving appropriate treatment. Typically, this involves removing the decayed portion of the tooth and filling the cavity with dental material. If the caries are deep, you might require a root canal treatment.
I hope that you get your answer.
Please let me know if you want some help.
Thank you.
