Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have a problem regarding my penile foreskin, the problem is my penile foreskin cracks whenever I pull it back or when my penis gets erect and I saw some dryness on my foreskin tip like lips become dry in winter. I use coconut oil for relief, but after sometimes it is not working.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

1. Avoid scratching and rubbing of lesion.

2. Avoid friction.

3. Avoid rough handling.

4. Apply Aveeno (Isopropyl Palmitate) moisturizer immediately after bath for one month.

5. Wash area with Episoft (Cetearyl alcohol) cleanser or no soap cleanser or Cetaphil (Cocamidopropyl Betaine) cleanser daily for one month.

6. Wear loose comfortable thin cotton inners.

7. Apply Fucidin cream (Potassium Sorbate, Cetyl Alcohol, and Butyl Hydroxyanisole) twice daily on fissure or cracks for seven days.

8. Maintain proper genital hygiene. 9. Avoid oil application as it may cause dryness later.

Regards.
