This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

The ECG report of my 80-year-old grandfather is as follows:

  1. HR: 76 BPM
  2. P: 110 ms
  3. PR: 169 ms
  4. QRS: 87 ms
  5. QT/QTc: 379/428 ms
  6. P/QRS/T: 77/78/64
  7. RV5/SV1: 1.488/0.324 mV

Is anything to worry about?

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for your query.

According to your statement, you have provided an ECG (electrocardiogram) of your grandfather and wanted to know the interpretation of it.

ECG provided here has shown HR (heart rate) 76 BPM, P: 110 ms (millisecond) which is within normal limit, PR interval 169 which is within the normal limit as normal PR interval is 120-200 ms, QRS duration: 87 ms that is normal because normal QRS duration is less than 120 ms, QT/QTc: 379/428 which is normal because normal values for QTc range from 350-450 for male, P/QRS/T: 77/78/64 that is within normal limit, and RV5/SV1: 1.488/0.324 that is also within the normal limit. So, the values of this ECG are within the normal range and no abnormalities have been found.

I hope this has helped you.

Thank you.
