Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I had a growth around my navel and underwent a biopsy, and the results said it was endometrial tissue. I was diagnosed with endometriosis, though I had no symptoms of it. I am 31 years old now and was diagnosed with endometriosis four years ago, but the area is still growing, and I feel pain and tenderness after my monthly period around my navel. Will it affect my chances of getting pregnant? Please help.
Thank you.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I have read the query, and I can understand your concern.
The endometriotic tissue around the navel may not affect your future pregnancy, but there can be associated endometriosis in and around your uterus, ovaries, and tubes. There can be chocolate cysts in the ovary and adhesions inside that can affect your future pregnancy. Hence, I suggest you consult a gynecologist and, if married, then plan pregnancy at the earliest.
I hope this will help you.
Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
