Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I am in the third decade of my life, and I have a normal body weight. I suffer from epilepsy, and I take the tablets Zonisamide and Lacosamide. Other than that, I believe I am in good health, except for mild leukopenia and neutropenia. In some situations, the arteries on the sides of my forehead swell a lot and throb. Thus, it became very noticeable and unsightly. This happens when I feel very hot (when I stay in the sun on my face for a long time), but also after a workout or great stress.
Thank you.

Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
Please find the attached documents, some pictures (arteries had just begun to contract), and an overview of my blood tests over the last few years. Also, note that I have been following a ketogenic diet for a couple of weeks (in order to better control seizures). My thyroid levels are fine. Epilepsy is caused by periventricular nodular heterotopia. There is no fixed drug eruption or dry skin. I have a daily skincare routine. I had used the tablet Oxcarbazepin for around seven to eight years.
Thank you very much.
Hi,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
It could be temporal arthritis or a vascular disorder associated with epilepsy. Consult a vascular surgeon, an ophthalmologist, and a neurologist, as eye and nerve pathology may be associated. Reduce stress and stay relaxed. Avoid activities that cause stress. Avoid excess work. Stay hydrated and drink seven to eight glasses of water daily.
I hope this helps.
Thank you.
