Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have had a fever for three days during the evening and night. The fever is around 100.4 degrees Farenheit. However, there are no other symptoms. Should I undergo any tests, or is it just a simple virus?
Kindly advise.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
Is the fever associated with headaches or chills? Is there any burning sensation during urination? Is there any stomach pain? Was there any sore throat in the past few days?
Kindly revert with answers to the above questions.
Thank you.
Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Thank you for the response.
I only have sore muscles and headache. I ate raw fish a few days ago; can it be the reason for my fever?
Hello,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
Raw fish can be the reason for the fever. Did you have any vomiting or loose stools? I suggest you take tablet Paracetamol for symptomatic relief and drink plenty of water to stay hydrated. However, if fever persists or new symptoms appear, I suggest you consult a doctor for evaluation.
I hope this helps.
Thank you.
Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am attaching my blood test report.
Kindly review.
Hello,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
I have reviewed the reports (attachment removed to protect the patient's identity). They are within the normal limits except for hemoglobin which is on a slightly higher end. The fever should subside in a day or two.
I hope this helps.
Thank you.
