What is causing my head heaviness, tingling, blurry eyes, and mild fever?

Hello doctor,

I had a fever last month, which was controlled after taking Paracetamol. Later, I felt uneasy and experienced slight shortness of breath. In the first week of this month, I received a tetanus injection because glass got into my foot. From that evening onwards, I felt heaviness in my head and tingling sensations. At the same time, my eyes became hazy or blurry, my forehead felt hot, and I had a mild fever. Sometimes, I experienced shaking and tightness in my head, along with shortness of breath. During this time, my blood pressure also increased to 150/100 mmHg. I was admitted to the hospital two days after receiving the injection and was discharged a week later after being diagnosed with viral fever and diabetes. (I have ankylosing spondylitis).

One week after discharge, dysentery and mild fever started and were controlled after taking a tablet. Since yesterday, I have been experiencing heaviness and tingling in my head, along with hazy or blurry eyes and a mild fever (without chills). I feel tingling in my feet, and sometimes my blood pressure rises (during which I take Telma 40). Today, when I applied ice to my head and forehead, I felt a reduction in heaviness and tingling.

Please let me know whether this is viral fever, migraine, or high blood pressure, and please prescribe medicines. For the past two days, I have been taking Paracetamol. Currently, my blood pressure is 130/88 mmHg, and my random blood sugar level is 113 mg/dl. I am not experiencing any shortness of breath.

It seems that you might be experiencing migraine or stress-related headaches. The most important question is whether the fever you are mentioning has been documented with a thermometer or not. We often experience headaches and body aches without measuring the temperature, assuming we have a fever, but when we measure it, we realize there is no fever present. I do not believe that any fever would persist for that long. My recommendation would be to please check your fever and keep a temperature chart. If the fever persists above 99.9 degrees, then we need to consider testing for tuberculosis and typhoid. If the thermometer indicates no fever, then you may need to start taking a medication known as Amitriptyline after discussing it with your primary care doctor. This medicine is primarily an antidepressant at higher doses, but at lower doses like 10 mg, it helps in migraine relief, and alleviating nonspecific body aches. So, first of all, start measuring your temperature for the next seven days and then provide me with the fever chart.

Hi. Sorry for the delayed response because of Holi. So it's very clear that you don't have a fever. you just have a fever like feeling. I would go with the diagnosis of mixed headache. Mixed headache means a headache which has migraine as well as some stress components too. My recommendations would be to start you on Amitriptyline 10 mg.
