Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I always get infected by the seasonal flu. When infected, it makes me fall very sick. I would like to know how I can protect myself from getting infected? Is the immunity low that I get infected with this seasonal flu? In that case, how can I raise the immunity? If I fall sick again, it can affect my job. Kindly help me.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. The best way to protect yourself from getting infected is by vaccinating with a Quadrivalent Influenza Vaccine. Also, take adequate measures to prevent catching the infection. I suggest the following:

  1. Vitamin C 500 mg one tablet once daily.
  2. Wearing warm clothes.
  3. Steam inhalation every day.
  4. Warm water gargles regularly.

Thank you.
