Can Duloxetine cause urinary urgency and overactive bladder?

I have suddenly developed urinary urgency and frequent urination. I had urine tests and other evaluations, but no infection was found. Could an overactive bladder be a side effect of medication?

These symptoms started a few weeks after I began taking Duloxetine for nerve pain and have gradually become worse. I now wake up several times every night to urinate, and it is affecting both my sleep and my work. Please let me know the following:

How can I tell if this is a side effect of Duloxetine or if I am developing an overactive bladder on its own?
If the medication is causing it, do these symptoms usually improve after stopping or switching to another medicine?
Are there safer alternatives for treating nerve pain that are less likely to affect bladder control?
