Patient's Query

Hi,

There is some furuncle or insect bite in the middle part of my penis. I used Quadriderm, but it is not getting better. It is painful, not itchy, and a little reddish in the swollen part.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Any redness with pain should be a sign of inflammation. The reason for that has to be worked out. If you do not have any drug allergies, then a course of antibiotics like capsule Augmentin 625 mg two times a day for five days will do. In addition, you can have paracetamol for pain. Consult your doctor and take the medicines accordingly. Kindly let me know about the following:

1. Your age.

2. Any associated problems like diabetes etc.

3. Sexual history.

4. Any other skin problems.

I hope this information will help you. Please revert with the details in case of further queries.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
