Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have been experiencing dizziness, headaches, vomiting, constipation, and heavy abdominal pain for a month. I have lost my appetite, due to which I have lost nine kgs. I have undergone a lot of blood tests and scans. The brain CT scan and hearing tests have come negative. I even got an abdominal MRI. It seems that I have a stomach infection. The doctor has prescribed me medications. Most of them are laxatives to help with constipation. The doctor said that the infection may have caused dizziness and headache. I have been passing only a few clear liquid stools. Please help find out what is wrong with me and suggest a proper treatment.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have read your query and understand your concern.

I suggest you share the MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) findings as it will help diagnose properly. I suspect you may be suffering from inflammation in your colon. I suggest you follow the instructions given below -

  1. Drink plenty of fluids and keep yourself hydrated.
  2. Increase the intake of soft and semisolid foods in your diet to prevent further weight loss. Consult a nutritionist, and talk to them; hopefully, they will help you.
  3. Kindly share the MRI reports for further diagnosis.

I hope this has helped you out.

Thanks and regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
