Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Last night I had a stomach ache, and this morning I had a pale gray stool, and I have little stomach discomfort today. I had my gallbladder removed a couple of months ago because I was diagnosed with biliary dyskinesia. I have also been doing the keto diet for a couple of weeks. I am a 29-year-old male, weight -195 lbs, and height- 5’6 feet. I am taking Flonase nasal spray and tablet Allegra. Please help me.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Well, some change in the color of stools is a normal phenomenon and should not be the reason for anxiety. The stool's colors, which are alarming to me, are black, red, maroonish, and completely pale stools which appear almost as white as rice. Yellow color stools are a normal finding because of bilirubin pigment. Mild discomfort in the stomach can be due to acidity and should resolve with some anta acids. I would suggest taking.

1) Capsule Esomeprazole (Esomeprazole magnesium) 40 mg, a half-hour before breakfast for one week, and then stop.

You can take it again whenever you feel the acidity. I hope this will solve your problem. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
